Giving Back   

Our motto, “More Than a Home Builder,” also extends to the many things BT Homes does to support our Santa Fe community.

Our Buyers’ Assistance Programs - In 2003, we started our Teacher’s Assistance Program to help educators get into a new home. Now we’ve expanded it to include doctors, nurses, firefighters and police officers. We believe that these hard working, fellow Santa Feans are the heart of our community and deserve a helping hand when it comes to a down payment or moving expenses. Our Holiday Tithing – During the 2004 holiday season, BT Homes held a toy drive to benefit the children’s wing of the Santa Fe Rape Crisis Center. We served food and raffled off turkeys every hour during the event. In addition to the three huge boxes of toys and gifts collected, we donated $1,000 for each home sold at our Solecito community during November and December. We presented the Rape Crisis Center with a check for $8,000.

Mayor Delgado’s Food Drive – BT Homes hosted a gourmet cooking demonstration day with a celebrity chef at one of our Ridge Pointe model home’s gourmet kitchens. The entrance fee was a non-perishable food item for the Mayor’s annual food drive. In addition to collecting several large bins of food, BT Homes donated $1,000 per home sold at our Ridge Pointe community from November 1 through December 10 to the food drive. We presented the Mayor with a check for $6,000.

The Waldorf School – When the Waldorf School needed a new high school, BT Homes pitched in. We built the school at no profit and donated all of the bidding, subcontracting, supervision and implementation.

Gifting Community Organizations – At BT Homes, we’re dedicated to continually helping our community with causes and programs. Listed are some other local organizations we have contributed to.
